Hi Hjalmar,
Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We are pleased to hear that you enjoy the design, stability and ease of use of the flav&soda Fizz Maker.
We would, however, like to clarify the stated yield of up to 75 litres. This figure is based on using approximately 6 grams of CO₂ per litre, which produces a lightly carbonated drink. The actual yield will vary considerably depending on the carbonation level selected, the temperature of the water and how long the carbonation button is held. Strongly carbonated water naturally uses significantly more CO₂ and will therefore reduce the number of litres produced per canister.
We acknowledge that the instruction to continue pressing until the gas flow stops may lead users to produce a stronger level of carbonation than the level used to calculate the maximum stated yield. We are reviewing this wording to ensure that the relationship between carbonation strength and canister yield is clearer.
Our request for a video was intended only to help us understand the operating process and identify whether there might be a technical issue, rather than to suggest that you were using the machine incorrectly. We are sorry that this was not communicated more clearly.
Your recorded yield of 40–45 litres would indicate a higher level of carbonation than the light carbonation setting used for the 75-litre calculation. Nevertheless, we appreciate the feedback and agree that customers should be given clear and realistic information about how carbonation preference affects actual yield.
